Morning Meadow Poem by Mark Walters

Morning Meadow

Rating: 5.0

Morning sun beams down the hill,
Warming up life on God's porch.
Lazy morners get our fill,
Waking up in nature's church.

Songbirds play a sweet refrain,
Harmonized like jam and bread.
Tea to start our souls again;
Dust cobwebs from our head.

Daybreak in the meadow,
Concerts always there for free.
Early risers catch the show,
Latecomers fail to see.
