Most Intelligent Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Most Intelligent

I may not be the most intelligent.
To consciously know this to admit.
But I could never prove to myself.
Or others.
That lieing to do publicly,
Will provide me with long lasting benefits.
If I continued to insist,
I am mentally equipped.
While others around me are more convinced,
What I need and immediately...
Is just one psychiatrist.
Who is familiar with,
Putting nuts back into a can.

Well written and conceived. The blueprint of delusion. The pitfalls of pride. You nailed it on the head.
