Most People Poem by Francis Duggan

Most People

Most people have allergies to this or to that
To the hair of a cow or a dog or a cat
To the bite of a mosquito or the sting of a bee
Or the pollen off of one species of flowering tree.

Most people have phobias some scream out of fear
If a spider on their bedroom wall does appear
And others live in fear of rats snakes and mice
Yes most have their phobias but not out of choice.

Most people are political in some way
And to those they oppose scant respect they do pay
They see people who vote for parties others than their's as a little bit strange
If all thought like they do Governments would never change.

Most people are addictive and that includes me
Of bad habits we've formed we cannot break free
For to find the perfect person you may travel the World and search here and there
But what you seek you may not find anywhere.
