Mother Poem by Haidar Bamazru'

Mother

Rating: 5.0

For the whole nine months and more.
You carried me under your affection.
You protected me with your soul.
You sacrificed your life without redemption.
You taught me how to walk.
You brought me to the top.
You fed me with your golden thought.
You trained me how to talk.
You tailed me when I crawled.
You traced me when I was lost.
You cried when I was sad.
You laughed when I was glad.
Oh…mother…
Everything in the world that I have.
Seems to be nothing without your help.
May your soul rest in peace in paradise.
May the lord guard you for the rest.
Allahummaghfirlaha
Warchamhaa
Wa’aafihaa
Wa’fu’anhaa
