Mother Poem by Pink Tigress

Mother

This mortal coil that you spun
Was left to dangle dripping blood
Anemic
Drained from head to toe
Vivid visions in my mind
Memories haunting me
How id watch you sleep
The tranqualizers took you deep
Far beyond a dream
Although I know you needed them
To stop the voices in your head
It kept it hard to maintain
At an adolescent age
Trying to keep my own thoughts sain
Time and time again
You threw me to the wind
Always winding back your way
Like a boomerang
Till I spread wings one day
I upped and flew away
