Mother Poem by Neela Nath Das

Mother

Rating: 4.0

Her eyes are blank,
Clothes torn, ragged & patched
Beauty has taken renunciation long past;
She has no rank,
wizened and shrunken face-
Tells no story of glamor.
But she laughs
She smiles
She is a MOTHER! !

A poet touches deep and laconic to tell our Amma...the Gods-es of Earth Her eyes are blank, Clothes torn, ragged & patched Beauty has taken renunciation long past; She has no rank, wizened and shrunken face- Tells no story of glamor. But she laughs She smiles She is a MOTHER! ! I love this poet for own vision

nice poem; every mother's face does have a story of glamor, if you look closely through the eyes of her child.

Your 'MOTHER' is a beautiful poem. Thanks for this beautiful piece. It glorifies all mothers, like my own, who: 'Tells no story of glamor. But she laughs She smiles She is a MOTHER! ! ' I also liked Valsa George's comment.
