Mother Poem by Ted Carlson

Mother

Rating: 5.0

Mother I know you love me, I know that to be true
but sit down mother and ill tell you what else you do
Mother you always loved me wether I'd done wrong or right
And mother I shur am glad you were their to chase the bogeyman away at night
Mother your the one and only this family's guiding light
You hold this family straight and true like a lug nut on the wheel of life
So dear mother don't worry you raised your kids right
You taught us to be kind to one another and never give up
With out a fight
