Mother India

My India
more than my heart
more than my passion
the land of Lord Budhha, Mahavira
Rama & Krishna
the land of origin of four religion
the land which gave the knowledge of zero
to the world
the land of divine consciousness
preached fatalism to the world

the land of St. Francis Xavier
the land of Mother Teressa
the land of Khwaja Chistie
the land of sovereignty
the land of emancipation
the land to provide Eternal peace

I bow before you
you are delighted with the rhyme
bande mataram
the universal song

The fragrance of Mother India
spread worldwide

India, any praise to you is less

Mother India - I love you.

Poem of the Day

poet Henry David Thoreau

My books I'd fain cast off, I cannot read,
'Twixt every page my thoughts go stray at large
Down in the meadow, where is richer feed,
And will not mind to hit their proper targe.
