Mother's Love Poem by Joyce Hemsley

Mother's Love

My 'mother love' is ever true
No matter where you go.
I will be there on a sunny day
Or when you are walking
Through the snow.

A lesson I'll give, if you hold my hand
On how to make castles in the sand.
We must go down to the shores of the sea
With bucket and spade...and energy.
We will need enough sand for the
Castle we've planned...
Not too little and not too grand.
Now down on your knee and dig with me.

Oh no my child ~ how can this be?
Here comes the rain pouring on me.
Dark clouds afloat across the blue
But mummy will tell you what to do.
Just glance at the rainbow in the sky.
There's always tomorrow for you and I,
And the shores of the sea will beckon you
We can build our castle fresh and new.

My 'mother love' is ever true,
No matter where you go.
I will be there on a sunny day
Or when you are walking
Through the snow.
