Mothers In Waiting Poem by Patricia Osamor

Mothers In Waiting

There are some who would feels today does not matter to them
Those who had waited to cuddle a tiny looking being
Those who would love to share today with those who have
Those who would desire to feel the joy of motherhood
Those who have waited endlessly for the test result to show positive
Those who had leaped at the joy of another child birth and wished...
To those Mum I extend my love, faith and wish you HAPPY Mother's day

Sometime being a mother is not only cuddling a child in you hand
But when you cuddle in your heart, that one day will be at hand
Hoping and praying that it will come to past

Tear of joy at others birth, same tears at your state of nature
But in every of our inabilities remember God is able
Don't despair, don't give up hope, faithful is He that has promise.

Sarah almost lost hope, Hannah too, but God showed up
In the time you least expect,
God shows up in due respect

To all the Hannahs and Sarahs in the waiting

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY - keep hope alive.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Yesterday was mother's day, sitting and washing people rejoice over their parents, husbands cuddling their wives and children wishing their mummy well, then I look around again and saw several who did not have, who wished but clothed with the facade of pretense of joy but deep down anguishing sorrow enures. When the children in my children Sunday school class wished me happy mothers day a tear logged in the corner of my eyes withheld by bold braveness. And a cousin came hugged me and said mummy i have nothing to give to you but I wish you well in life. I almost broke down... that inspired this cause I know there were many in my shoes.

A beautifully written piece of a view that many have probably never considered. Thanks for this wonderful work!
