when i was young
love was something
i could not wait to feel
to see
to expreiance
growing up it seemed as though
it would be like a fairy tail

but as the years came
and the years went
there's no love
like a mothers love
so pure and true
it will never fade
never the heart break
or the pain

and so
from this point on
i will always be true
to myself and others around me
never tell a lie
never fall for the wrong guy

ill stay true to my word
and always love my children
and cherish the love that
they give me each day
as that's the only love
ill ever receive
as i will not open my heart
to another
in this life of pain
