Princess Kathleene Gabunales

Mountain Tops - Poem by Princess Kathleene Gabunales

sunrise in the moutain tops
green grass all over the place
and the trees are not just green
but they glitter under the rays

wind blows and coldness in the skin
there is joy
there is pain
in the eyes, but
it is thy happiness still that shows

for a moment
forgetting the world
which is more real
that is not a question

no rain or snow
weather may change
but not withered leaf
can stop flowers from blooming
sunrise in the mountain tops
green grass all over the place
