Mourning In August Poem by Perfectly Flawed

Mourning In August

Rating: 0.5

Mourning in August
Just another day
Don't want them to hurt me
Still i listen to what people say

I'll be strong so they know
That they can't break me
Still like a gentle petals fall
They either break or forsake me

When will the time come
When i can finally say my goodbye
These four walls only get smaller
This bed feels like my coffin when i lie

How long will it be before the ones i care for smile
I'll only live to see that beautiful day
I hope they will all live in peace
and in happiness there thoughts shall stay

Quite well written if I may say so myself... I have read a couple of your poems, the subject matter is indeed interesting...
