Because It's Not In You To Give More
Or
You Don't Know What You Do It For
Or
You've Had So Little For So Long
This Serving Is Ok
Not Quite Filling but
You're Grateful
You Say Thank You
This Gratitude
Doesn't Fill The Empty In You
Just Keeps You Going
But Deep Inside You
Beyond The Growling
There's A Knowing
There's A Crack and It's Showing

This Is Not Heart Breaking

It's Part Freeing
A Heart That's Aching

She Said She's Growing Fonder Of Me
As She Has To Let Go
Too Bad You Couldn't Let Show

You Couldn't Let Me Know
So Tell Your Heart No

This Is Not What It Was All For
