What has happened in the past can never be undone in
the future.
How do you progress from a past that won't let go?
How do you shift away from someone you love?

We are pushed to move on by time whether it's in
sadness or bliss.
We are forever tormented in solitary by the painful
memories we carry in our thoughts.

Dealing with the treachery caused by friends and loved
ones, is thorny to stand.
The hurt is unbearable to sustain, so we move on
thoughtlessly seeking remedies in severe places.

Could there be love we experience proper without going
through harm and distress?
We travel searching for those who can unbroken our
hearts and liberate us from loneliness.
With expectations, we love again hoping to feel the same
love that we lost in the past.

Some find it as others wander with wounds seeking love,
but they are pierced deeply as if pain was a shadow they
are cursed with.
