So blessed
So happy
So glad
Got great friends waiting for me
Going out of their way
A meeting at every turn
What a pleasant surprise
So amazing to me

Ready to take me in
Ready for an embrace
Warm
Smile
Really great
Can't not be gracious and appreciate

This life
Set for me
Meeting me
Happiness
So ready
Loving all of this
This festival of happiness
Pure joy
Great warmth
Family
Snow falling
Falling leaves

Pretty colors
Transporting
Sunset
Sunrise
Pretty leaves

Drifting
Whirling
In the breeze

Kind of chilly
But not gonna freeze

Holding me close
Keeping me warm

Even when the fire goes out
Sitting right next to me
Heart beating close
Drifting into sleep

Perfect memories
Warmth I'll always keep
With me
Smiling
Always happy

Poem of the Day

poet Sara Teasdale

Only in sleep I see their faces,
Children I played with when I was a child,
Louise comes back with her brown hair braided,
Annie with ringlets warm and wild.
