Mr Caterpillar

Hello Mr Caterpillar
Upon my hedge.
Thought I wouldn't notice you
With quiet little legs?
 
You seem rather busy,
Can you stop and play?
What are all those suitcases,
Are you going away?
 
Oh, Mr Caterpillar!
Where have you gone?
I've looked everywhere,
It's been so very long.
 
Is that you Mr Caterpillar,
With those beautiful wings?
You really do know how
To make the sunshine sing.
