Mr. Right Is Coming Poem by Sophy Iminzah

Mr. Right Is Coming

Mr. Right, are you on the way?
Can you feel my smile miles away?
Are you coming? I am lonely
In the starry sky you are my only

You light my life with the twinkling
Come closer enough for a sprinkling
Your name to be acclaimed as my own
Clearly making it to the other zone

To make you happy is my life-career
From now to the future that’s near
House, room and only bed-mate
We will settle and never vacate

Waiting makes me quite tearful
Wishing for a life that’s blissful
A permanence in making a home
The hope that a baby we’ll form

You haven’t answered me, I am waiting
Looking out for you without abating
Do I hear? “Be patient I’ll be there soon,
Before the moon, even by balloon”
