Murder Poem by Kevin Broken

Murder

It was a cold October night
What a tragedy I'am going to write
There is nothing worse than losing a loved one
It really does create quite a moment of shock and stun
People have gone to their wit's end
To get rid of those who they offend
When the man had died
How tragic it was for the bride
The children stayed back upon the face that haunts them today
When I imagine this my head and my stomach turn gray
For dozens of people witnessed the deed
His death was confirmed and guaranteed
I remember the three wounds that laid upon him
In the split second that he fell upon the floor of the gym
The three sounds that made my skin crawl
The three booms that frightened all
My experience of facing the man guilty
I saw his horrid personality
I will never forget
