Murders In Edmonton Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Murders In Edmonton

Murders in Edmonton

I'm Phu Lam
Vietnam my homeland
(Birth of wars; ideas)
Immigrant, I landed
New home is great but not mine
Out of home in me is Vietnam
I returned to find wife
I met her; she was young
I chose her as my wife
Thuy Tien

A long time bachelor
New land, strange
I saw her as honest; unaware
Women are all evil, she's woman

My money, her belly
She made love to other; unmentioned
Inside her she had child
"It is ours."
She told me, hid the fact
Sweet lies

When she came with my help
Exposed to new laws; she soon changed
Actress, played games
Till science came to help
She'd been bad; now had chance
Her breach of trust came to light
Now I know she's cheater
But the law is blind
I'm victim; culprit; criminal
If is so let it be
I take law in my hand

And he did
Murders in Edmonton
