Muse Poem by Arunava Bhattacharyya

Muse

I see you in the light and dark,

Like an arc.

Rising from the ashes,

And then, you're gone.

You come close, to go far away

, And fill my mind with pandemonium and lull.

So who are you? ?

You are more severe than pain,

Leave me nothing but to be a swain.

And I feel your footsteps-

In my veins-slow yet silent! ! !

Someday you are just a dream,

And someday-a tempting mirage.

But for now-just a question.

I have you in my eyes,

Blossoming with the hues of life,

In the seasons of togetherness and prosperity-

Where you win, and I lose.

I profess, you ignore,

And then we wait,

Till the pale colour of love rains! ! ! ! !
