MUSIC EVOKES FEELINGS IN ME

Music evokes feelings in me
I did not know I could have-
Longings and sadnesses
Hints of memory
Quiet joys
Beauty that brings tears
Deep deep love of life.
As if there were far far more in me
And in the world
Than I had ever known.
Music reveals me to myself
As nothing else does.
Wordless or not-
It teaches me a world within myself
How I love to feel and be in listening
Deep deep soul in me and of God's world.
