Poet's Notes about The Poem

Inspired by an interview comment to being in music for the long haul, by New Zealand singer Bic Runga. The original artists I referenced in a reply were life time artists Elton John and Rod Stewart; but then I realized it was necessary to reference and plug legendary kiwi life artists Tim Finn and Dave Dobbyn, because most are not blessed with knowledge of the depth and creative diversity of the unique New Zealand music scene.
