THE MUSIC OF THE SEVEN
STRINGS

(I)

When sparkling melody emanate from the Veena
of seven strings,
Our thoughts and emotions begin to integrate
within!
The mestro plays his ragas with eyes closed,
When the inner third eye gradually unfolds!
His music vibrates through time and space,
Reaching unseen dimensions in stellar space!
The entire cosmos floats on the vibrations of
nano strings *,
As all notes integrate to praise and sing;
And glorify the creator the Lord and king!
The mellifluous notes flow unbounded and
unconfined,
To joyously blend with the music of the divine!

The Rudra Veena's throbbing and pulsating
melody,
Reverberates through hills and dale with wave-
like glee!
Its dulcet and euphonious notes embraces forests
and trees, -
Reaching the very depths of firmament, where the
Gods be!
It touches our mind, our heart and soul,
Till our very being transcends to merge with the
universal whole!
