'Mutiny On The Bounty'

Today I imagine the trials of filming 'Mutiny on the Bounty' in 1962

in colonizing vine-knitters & fat chewers who've never wore a shoe

Impressing island maidens with fascinating trinkets that I brought

Enhancing my physical prowess with these vitamins that I bought

Tumbling bountiful Tahitian women as any stroke involves a clot

Fighting off the romantic advancements of beauty queens is tough

Living on raw fish, cocoanut water, manioc root is a bit too rough

for I am forevermore scalding ready-women that enough is enough

for I am forever scalding ready-women because enough is enough

so return my cockerel shells, toenail clippers & the rest of my stuff

as your price is dear for cocoa-buttered coochie with velvety muff

I will learn you good palm-frond-skirted girlie with my belt buckle

sparing no part with the exception of your heavenly moose knuckle

Poet's Notes about The Poem

The flames were licking at my ass. Who wants flames licking at their ass? Not me. I don't want flames licking at my ass. A wise man said: “Do what is necessary to keep flames from licking at your ass.” Your slow metabolism, big bones & predilection to retain fluids isn't going to keep you fat in the throes of starvation as proven by the condition of ALL concentration-camp prisoners.
