My Angel Poem by Cameron Penrose

My Angel

but a mere canvas could never recreate
the beauty god paints
from every blemish to every mole
every miniscule piece that makes her whole
the radiant penetration of her fragile gaze
with depth that moves waves of emotion like the sea
my eyes watering as I wave but she won't see
because she's already too strong for both her and me
and no extra weight need be
added to her joyful gait that makes her free
bouncing ever-so-lightly on her angel-feet
her gentle touch migrates to the pain
like the the love entangled around the thoughts in her brain
only god can dictate when an angel touches down
He thinks it's a secret, but I'll hold on to this one I found
