My angel
How beautiful you are…
Eyes with an indefinable colour,
which one can drown in
Your halo glowing like the moon,
silver wings spread
Your smile that can light up a room
A soul that can bring a change to the world
Keep me safe from harm
Protect me against all the violence
Let their words fade out
Wrap your beautiful wings around me
Make me forget all my sins
Let my troubles melt away in your light
Don’t let me fall in the downward spiral
Be mine, and I’ll hold on
Because you’re my angel send from above
