My Balloons Poem by Loren Denny

My Balloons

My balloons
Loren Denny
3.8.18

You are my big red balloon
blossoming in color
almost bursting with size
You will be tied to my arms soon
watching behind anxious eyes
My big red balloon
Above the others in ways
That I will never forget
And then a pink one
My favorite also
In some ways is next
Mine! Proclaimed by me
Shall be none other
fate metright then
and also brother
My big red balloon
On my arm held tether
I hope and pray
Our time together is right
Unlike my very missed
Blue 1 last seen in flight
My big red balloon
In magical tense
Secured to my arm
I ll keep you forever
If I keep you from harm
