My Beauty A Far Poem by Slim Jim

My Beauty A Far

My beauty a far
I have let you go
I have sealed shut my doors
And left you in the snow
It’s all thanks to you I travel alone
With my new heart as cold as a stone
You were my bird
Laid down at rest
I was the stick,
Not good enough for the nest
I was the meal,
Not good enough to eat
I was the seal,
That always got beat
If I was a bird, that tried to fly
You’d always rain down from the sky
So, I'm sorry my dear
But I must let you know
For it's this much I fear
That I must let you go.
I know that you're some one that I've never met
But I can't live with mistakes, that turn into regret.
