My Bridget Had A Rare Smile Poem by OLUMIDE AYODELE

My Bridget Had A Rare Smile

It all began structurally,
The beautiful bricks in her eyes,
Began the soothing effect of the foundation,
Knocking down houses of soary wrinkles,
Beauty is defined; a spark emerge,
Out of the window of a virginal flushed cheek,
And behold scattering, smashing boredom's plainess in sight,
The upper, the lower lips began their stealthy journey
Heavenwards.
