My Burden To Carry
Is pain my burden to carry?
To hug and love forever more?
It crept so silently
That blackness came and took a place in my heart.
Unaware of this plague, it grew with it -hate.
No joy I can find,
For rain falls like tears from my eyes.
Cradle me in it bosoms and lay me to sleep
for unconsciously I accept thee willingly.
