My Canadian Chronicles 26 Poem by David Harris

My Canadian Chronicles 26

Rating: 5.0

We went to Edmonton
to see the largest Mall in North America.
Sue was meeting with an old neighbour
that she had not seen in years.
We walked around the mall
until it was time for them to meet.
Finally, they met
and this is where the strange began.
I was introduced to her friend
and I had the feeling that we had met before,
but that was impossible.
Yet even her daughter looked familiar
of which made no sense,
as I had never been to Edmonton or Calgary before.
Strange is the only word that I can put down
for our brief meeting and the feeling that I had.
