My Dad Poem by Meghna Sreedhar

My Dad

Clutching my life's gear
Bubbling all my anxieties clear
He was always with me
Holding my arm n my knee

Throwing all my fears out
Strengthening the bond in my life's knot
Tuning my mind's maze
To place me first in the race

He has my constant pleasure
Building me and my feature
Had it been that easy
If he wasn't solving the things that were tossy

Would Meghna be 'the all time busy'
If he wasn't the one who handled me crazy
Proper in his thoughts and holding me tight
He made my way calm and light

Bearing me all the time
Ignoring the clock thumping nine
He rarely felt lazy and gloom
Once in a blue moon

My pleasures blossom in his pavement
And that's what I always meant

Flushing out all my worries
Has he been my all time hero in my bedtime stories
He didn't mind to sing a lullaby
When I was a little baby

He brushed away all the mist
Gifting me the strength in his wrist
He gave a scare at his teach
Showing me the right road to reach

Tiding out love in loads
Passing the warmth in all moods
I love you to the fullest dad! ! ! !
