My Dad, My Superman Poem by Martin Strain

My Dad, My Superman

Rating: 4.0

Hair black as coal, eyes as blue as the sky.
You held me high, like a bird in the sky.
When the world was against me, you were there.
You protected me.
You comforted me.
You fought for me.
You are my dad, my hero.
Wherever you are in space, time and beyond;
You will forever be in my heart.
Forever be my hero,
My Superman.

Beautiful tribute in remembrance and celebration of a father who was a loving dad, well articulated and subtly penned from inner recesses of the heart. A lovely poem nicely written with conviction. Thanks for sharing Martin. Please read my poem THE OBSESSIVE AGONY OF LUST.
