you don't know
how I feel
but with you gone
it gives me time to heal

you never really hurt me
except when you left my side
it's still hard for me
this I try to hide

I hide the pain
and there it stays
until I'm ready for
the very next phase

I cant let you go
but it's something I must
but right now it feels like
my heart's about to bust

I know it seems crazy
but I can't change a thing
not even when I hear the clock
doing it's very last ding

to you I was just a friend
but to me your much more
that in which lies far behind
that locked door

I will treasure our time
it'll never be lost
and I don't care
at what cost

you see it was different
but that's what made it great
even if you lead me on
I still would've taken the bait

you're on my mind
more then you know
but that I'll never tell
for me it's hard to show

I'm sure you knew
about how I feel
but even if you didn't 
it's all my deal.
