I finally have awoken from my poisonous slumber
I look around
Hoping to see you waiting for me
Instead a gasp escapes my lips
I see you lying there with no more life in you
For you had thought I was dead
Oh my sweet sweet romeo!
I am realizing what you had realized
When you had seen me lying here with no more breath in me
There is nothing left for us in this life
When one of us is dead
For without each other
There is no point in living
I see your dagger in your hilt
I pull it out
While I kiss you for the very last time
I plunge your dagger into my broken heart
Not out of anger
Not out of sorrow
Not of sadness
Only of our love for one another
Ever since that night
When your eyes met mine
Oh my sweet sweet romeo!
If only you would’ve known
At least maybe then
We both wouldn’t be lying here
Dead and heartbroken
