Darkness consumes me
All around
I try so hard
To survive

Breathing starts to hurt
My vision blurs
The storm whips in
Then nothingness

Hopeless dreams all around
Broken hearts
Disappointment sounds
Ringing, ringing

Harsh tones
Fall silent
Movement from
The shadows

Eerie faces
Gloom down
Terror sinks in
Nowhere to go

Loneliness lives within me
Takes the place of my soul
Controls my life
And the world lives on
