My Dream Poem by edwin amella

My Dream

If on my knees
come love to play
With feign emotion
and hearts treachery
I'll play the game
pretends too merry
No heart to mend
no blues to stay..

But if the play
makes the world so gay
I'll think not of future
nor asked any query
I'll enjoy love to fullness
life's grandest reverie
For its the aim of God
and the goal of many..

If so much pain
shall cross my way
and in my heart
comes grief to stay
why worry of heartache
time heals it away
a scar may remain
a memory of yesterday..
