My Enemy

  My enemy is my shadow,
As dark it is beside me,
Copying my every move and leaving me
When not vivid,
It's my enemy.
They say keep your friends close,
But keep your enemies CLOSER,
My enemy lies beside me,
For it leaves me in the dark sadness.

I have become my own enemy
I see no enemy here and there.
So I am a lone walker
On a busy street.

Thanks dear friend for this great poem.
