My Euphoria Poem by Antonia Nasi

My Euphoria

There's a happy place I go at night,
In mind and heart, devoid of fright.

Surrounded by this dreamt-up place,
Unconscious state, embraced by grace.

Escaping in an endless sea,
Imagining who I'd like to be.

A poet, queen or wealthy heir...
A songstress with a voice so rare.

Traveling by my plane or boat,
Swimming in my castle's moat.

Candle's light my way around,
Flower's strewn about the ground.

As peace and ease flow through my soul,
I waken and resume my role...

No poets, queens or motes remain,
Just hope that I will dream again.
