My Father is missing

My lovely nice father,
I salute you my dear,
You gave me a house,
And a lovely spouse.

You obliged me all round,
What I wished I found,
But this house of terror,
Is a source of horror!

Why don't you are here,
Why away you're there,
Can't you live with me?
I shall love to see!

Heartfelt poem touching indeed. Love for father is deeply expressed in this poem. Father who had provided all the comforts to son, and son will miss his beloved father indeed. Very true said, we miss our loved ones, especially when they are too far away from us. Beautiful flow of words. I read it twice. Thanks for sharing with us. (Report) Reply

It appears to me, as the above-mentioned lines indicate, that the word father is used in the meaning of creator. He gave us this beautiful world but the world is full of horrors and terrors and when the poet says-Why don't you are here, Why away you're there, Can't you live with me? I shall love to see! ; he in facts desires that God should now intervene to remove this horror and terror. (Report) Reply

A true expression of filial love! The son is so thankful about the comforts his father provided for him, but sadly missing him! A poignant write! (Report) Reply
