My Favorite Chair Poem by David Darbyshire

My Favorite Chair

Rating: 5.0

To sit in your favorite chair
For hours without a care
Newspaper, Slippers and a Tea
This is the life for me...........

I didn't notice before
what this button was for..
I press the button await my fate
'WOW', now it's starting to 'Vibrate'

And now I sit back
for a full Lazy attack
content with my chair
at the ceiling I stare

Soon my eye-lids begin to fall
I start to curl up into a little ball
I dreamt of eating ' Marshmellows', all night Long
In the morning when I woke up my 'pillow' was Gone?

I really enjoyed this one David. I love those chairs! (I don't have one but I've sat in them) . How nice and a cute ending. Nice work. Sincerely, Mary
