My Final Bow Poem by Holly Jamestone

My Final Bow

I'm still with you and you're with me
As though I weren't away
Two hearts now joined through memories
Of each and every day

Though I didn't say goodbye
I had you in my mind
Our souls embraced, our senses crossed
Our love so intertwined

I knew that I was going then
Just leaving for a while
With angels and their open arms
Exiting in style

They welcomed me but you must know
Until we meet one day
I'm with you now to help you cope
As though I weren't away

I've winked at you, I've thought of you
My fondness never dying
I bring you hope and comfort now
No need for pain or crying

Please think of me, my twinkling eyes
My spunk and vigor near you
And call to me in times of need
For always will I hear you

Though I didn't bid farewell
With little time to say
Please know I feel you're family
I won't be far away

You're in my heart and in my thoughts
I take you with me now
As I'm with you, you are with me, with this
MY FINAL BOW
