My Friend Poem by becky tuffs

My friend, you mean so much to me,
You helped my eyes to look and see,
That although my loved one has gone away,
I will get to see them again one day.

You hold my hand while i cry,
Over someone i love who had to die,
You tell me 'i dont know what to do'
I say 'please just be you.'

'dont change around me, im still the same,
Please dont be afraid to mention his name,
You do much more then you understand,
I love you my friend you are grand.'
