My Garden And Me Poem by Lenora M. Green

My Garden And Me

Whether it be in the morning, mid-day or evening time,
While walking through my garden each moment is sublime.
For when I'm in my garden there are no problems then,
It's beauty overwhelms me and my mind's at peace again.
In tending to my garden while slowly as I stroll,
I leave what I can not do to a higher forces control.
The daily efforts that I do each touch of tender care,
I find a never failing response in answer to my prayer.
My garden is a lovely place where Mind and Soul may rest,
Because in sight, touch and scent I reflect my inner best.
As life intertwines with nature things become more clear,
It's what one daily does that counts the goal is persevere.
