My Greatest Desire Poem by Dr John Celes

My Greatest Desire

My love for learning has no bounds;
My friends in life in truth are books;
I crave for knowledge frontiers sans;
I search for truth of many things.

The more I read, the more I crave;
The time I spend on books is worth;
The added ken gives contentment;
Knowledge makes men better with time.

The learned person is selfless;
Education makes one's heart broad;
The reading passion grows in life;
Literacy makes persons whole.
