My Hats Poem by Kevin Seales

My Hats

I have a hat
A very nice hat
I wear on top of my head

I do have a hood
I'd wear it if I could
But I want my hat instead

It keeps my head warm
But sometimes I'm torn
On which color to wear

I get so confused
On which one to choose
Sometimes I just sit and stare

The red one is the best
But I do like the rest
Blue matches the shoes on my feet

When I go out to play
I'll change every day
All seven days of the week
