My Hearts Door Poem by Heather Burns

My Hearts Door

Thunder is heard in the
distance
slowly approaching shore

Moisture begins to gather
tugging at a heart once
more

Lightening is a signal to
this heart of mine
coming together, slowly
inter-twine

Floods of life appear at
my hearts door
the wind begins to gather
swirling around once more.
