My 'Heaven' Is Different Than Yours

Rating: 5.0

Ok, let’s get straight to the point
I’m not great, nor am I any good
You're obviously immense, while I’m just worthless
You blow me out into nothingness; am I oblivious?

My heaven isn’t perfect at all
I sometimes make mistakes, and I always end up choosing the wrong path
But isn’t existence about living; isn’t it about making everything last?
While I’m trying to focus on my future, you keep reminding me of my past

So what if I’m not as good as you?
Does all of this that we’re going through really matter in the end?
We are the same people all around
Just quite the act, and don’t pretend

Us, we aren’t the same at all
If I’m incorrect, you will most likely be wonderful
Me, I’ll admit to everything that I did wrong, while you just stand there acting like you are right
In the conclusion of life, just remember that we will go to different places
Therefore, I will never again have to see your face

Well said. You made the title fit with the poem, and it'ds a really good one, too!
