He saved my life
Literally and metaphorically
He is my saviour
Big, bearded, brave
But kind and caring
Arms large enough to hold me
Tight against his tickly chest
Hands big enough to lift me away
From dangerously dark thoughts
He saved my life
He helped me make my heart whole
He filled the hole in my heart with love
He trust against my loneliness
And he parried against my despair
He loved me more than I loved myself
Then he taught me to do that
Elizabeth, I am so happy that you found eachother. Kind regards Gypsy

What could be more wonderful than having a lover generous enough with his love to teach you to love yourself. Loving others sometimes is easier than loving our-selves, just as forgiving others is easier than forgiving ourselves.
